I'd recently noticed the field rotating 90 degrees when I turn the Android tablet (SS5pro) In "appearance" unchecked and rechecked the option a few times and save a new file setting.

Still rotates. The behavior on my IOS device acts properly when un-checked., no rotation . What am I doing wrong with SS in Android?

  This may be a classic case of operator error .

  I'd rebooted the tablet twice , saved another new settings file - the auto-rotate now ceases with the box unchecked in "appearance".  I will consider this fixed at this point.
