If "Favorites" is selected immediately after the SN8P main window opens then my added favourites are shown but are greyed out and not selectable until some other action takes place such as selecting "Favorites" again. See the screenshot below:
This also occurred on 8.0.1.
Not just favorites but this behavior takes place with most menu items.

related: on the windows platform SN8p & SN8pp, Favorites menu drag & drop described in the manual does not appear to work under any conditions & one needs to close & reopen Starry Night to see any new 'favorites' one has saved to the favorites menu rather than the new favorite showing up in real time during the current Starry Night session. thanks for the consideration of this topic. reference:
