Starry Night Pro 8 Shows Different Positional Data For Jupiter As Compared To Data From Jet Propulsion Labratories

I am attaching my list of close and far distances of Jupiter to the

sun as published (calculated) by Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

I am also attaching 3 consecutive views with StarryNight Pro8

of the first farthest distance dates of above list. You can see

that Jupiter is not in the same place as it should be each ending/

beginning of its orbit. How is this reconciled? Thank you. John Pendleton

    Hi John,

Make sure you first go to Help > Update Data Files

Confirm the data is still incorrect after the data update

    Thanks!
