What Starry Night Pro Plus 8 Settings Are Synchronized Via LiveSky Across Multiple Computers? (Answer: Observing Sites, Equipment, FOV Indicators, Observing Lists, Observations Logs And Observing Sessions)

I'm just downloading SN8 Pro Plus. Before I use this PC to customize my UI settings I want to make sure I can sync them to my Telescope Computer through the cloud.

  What UI settings are you looking to sync? In general the data that is synced to the cloud and between devices is your "Observing Data." Specifically, your Observing Sites, Equipment, FOV Indicators, Observing Lists, Observations (logs) and Observing Sessions. We also sync "Saved Settings" which amount to Starry Night "files," which you can think of as containing a place, time, fov/zoom, gaze direction and some settings, like what layers and labels are on/off. These files need to be "opened" manually.

  It sounds like you're referring to something like default settings, which sets the values of most settings on startup. At the moment, the sync feature does not include those defaults. That said, you may not need to do that, or you may be able to accomplish something similar using the Saved Settings (files) as described above.
