Is there any time frame on when this will be fixed? Bought and paid for SS6 pro and and now I can't use my mount. Should I request a refund for SS6 pro until this is patched?

Bill Tschumy What is not working? This is the first I've heard of this.
I assume you are referring to the firmware in the mount? Have you contacted iOptron to ask why they broke this?

Bill Tschumy I should also ask what version of SkySafari are you running. We did make a change way back in August of 2018 to support new IOptron firmware. This was in version 6.2.0. We are currently up to version 6.4.0.

Tom Zepf I can confirm that the CEM60(EC) is also broken after the latest firmware upgrades for both iOS and macOS versions of SkySafari 6 Pro v6.3.1 (macOS) and SkySafari 6 Pro v6.4.0.3 (iOS).
Here's the iOptron firmware history page: http://www.ioptron.com/v/Firmware/CEM60_FirmwareVersionHistory.pdf
For the CEM60 it is:
- V20190221 Firmware upgrade for HC
- V20190424 Firmware upgrade for main board and RA motor control board
Here is SkySafari logfile output:

Bill Tschumy We understand the problem and are working on a fix. iOptron changed the firmware version number in a way that breaks things. They changed the version number to something above the changeover from V2 protocol to V3. Our code is assuming the firmware speaks V3 because of the version number but apparently it is still V2.

Tom Zepf For any following this thread, give it a try with the latest versions. It looks to be working again, now.

Keiron Smith Hi Jonathan, Tom,
Was this issue resolved by a new iOptron firmware update? Can I consider this issue resolved?
Thanks!

Tom Zepf Hi Keiron, this issue was resolved in the latest versions of SkySafari for iOS and MacOS. There has been no firmware updates from iOptron.
Thanks,
Tom
