I have been connecting using WiFi but the signal keeps getting disconnected over the past month in my backyard observatory. So, I want to try a USB cable but cannot find how to connect it to SS. The options are WiFi/Ethernet or Bluetooth. I think I saw somewhere you need to download a driver to the Mac but I am not sure where to find that.

Keiron Smith Hi,
You need to install a macOS driver specifically compatible with your USB cable. Then you will see an option to select "serialusb".
The macOS driver is provided by the USB cable manufacturer. Go to their support website.
Thanks!

Keiron Smith Hi Tony,
What WiFI device are you connecting to?

I was trying to connect to the factory AP control box model GTOCP4. I did some more research and called AP. I just got the reply to use the 1172.31.0.1 with port 23 instead of 4030 default. I just tried it and it connects wirelessly. Now, I will follow the how to use the software.
thx
