I like all of my apps to vibrate instead of playing sounds for notifications. I've set SkySafari 6 like so:
Behavior: Pop on screen
Sound: None
Vibrate: On
...but it continues to play a notification sound.

Hi Jeff,
In SkySafari 6 Settings > Appearance & Behaviour > Uncheck the option for Sound Effects
Thanks!
Keiron - I do have Sound Effects turned off already.
In SkySafari 6 Settings > Appearance & Behaviour > Sound Effects < You have this option disabled for sure? Because, I believe the options you are referring to in your initial comment are OS settings. SkySafari does not have a "Pop On Screen" option.
Please confirm the SkySafari settings.
Thanks!
Yes, the app setting for sound effects is OFF.
The notification settings can be found by long pressing on the sky safari 6 icon ->app info -> notifications ->skysafari -> advanced
Any more ideas about this? I should point out that I'm not asking about "Sound Effects", but instead the audible sounds that always play when a planet rises. I want to replace the audible notifications with vibration.
I've been able to get all my other apps to be silent and instead vibrate....only Sky Safari is still playing audible notifications.
Same for me - sound is off but notifications are audible, and only after installing the Apollo update yesterday. This is on a Google Pixel 3 with Android 9 updates through July 5th.
One more sound to disable is when you open SkySafari. However, this is from the Android operating system. Go to Settings > Sounds > Media Volume (turn off or mute Media Volume). This most likely applies to later edition tablets.
