Why Is SkySafari 6 Pro Compass Mode Showing Southern Stars When Facing North? (Answer: Magnetic Case Interference)

The Compass and Stars seem  flipped in Sky Safari 6 Pro but not on Sky Safari 5 Pro, I have an iPhone 8 Plus. 

If I face east the compass is showing west and the star and things that are behind me.  I cant seem to find any setting that displays the sky correctly to show what I'm looking at.  

 

Is there a way to transfer all the settings over from SkySafari 5 Pro to 6 on the IOS version?  Or is there a setting I need to set to get this to display properly.

As I say it works correctly on 5 but not on 6.

Really need guidance here...... Thanks

    Seems fine for me on an iPad 5. Have you tried reverting to factory settings?

    Thanks , looks like my case is interfering with my compass on the iPhone.....  the magnetic switch for turning the iPhone off when the cover closes.

    don't know why it works with the older app.
