Is SkySafari 6 Pro Supported On The New OnePlus 7 Pro Running Oxygen OS? (Answer: Not Officially - If You Are An Oxygen OS User Please Share Your Feedback Here)

Hello,

I recently switched phones from a Samsung Galaxy S6 to a OnePlus 7 pro and I can't seem to get Sky Safari 6 to work on it.

Telescope: Celestron Evolution 8 with Wifi

Phone: OnePlus 7 pro with latest updated firmware (Oxygen OS)

Everything is updated to latest version and I can connect to the telescope via the WiFi, but as soon as I try to move the scope the entire app starts lagging and then the app crashes. I have tried restarting the phone but it still crashes.

Everything works perfectly on the S6.

    Hi Justin, 

    Unfortunately, Oxygen OS is not officially supported.  We have not developed for, nor tested against, the Oxygen OS.  We support official versions of Android OS 4.4 and higher.

    Perhaps, other Oxygen OS users can offer their feedback here regarding whether they have found success or not using SkySafari 6 Pro for telescope control.
