Park - Celestron Nexstar

I have a Celestron Nexstar 8 SE and connected it to Starry Night 7SE.

I can communicate with the telescope but when I press the <Connect> button, I get a message "unparked, complete a full alignment.

I get this even when the scope is already aligned.

Neither the Starry night or Celestron manual cover parking or unparking, and the hand controller does not have a <Park> button.

Can anyone assist with instructions / advice on how to proceed from here please.

  Please include the following information:

  1. Help > Starry Night version number.
  2. Operating system.
  3. If on Windows, ASCOM version number.
  4. If on Windows, ASCOM driver installed.
  5. If on Mac, Scope Type selected.
  6. Connection type (wired or wireless)
  7. Connection Hardware (WiFi or USB)
  8. Alignment process (step-by-step)
  9. Screenshot of the error message with SN7 in the background.
