Hello,

Running Sky Safari 6 Pro on Android.

Tried finding C/2019 Q4 Borisov to no avail, even after updating Solar System data on Settings. Probably not on the MPC file yet.

Can you please tell me what is the exact MPC file downloaded by Sky Safari (eg, https://minorplanetcenter.net/iau/MPCORB/MPCORB.DAT.gz)? Knowing this, I could monitor it myself to see when it gets added.

Also, is there a way to manually add orbital parameters for a new body directly into Sky Safari (eg, from https://minorplanetcenter.net/mpec/K19/K19RA6.html)?

  Thanks, I've noticed it started showing up at our around September 15th.

  I'd still like answers to my other questions so as to be prepared when something similar happens again, to wit:

  Hi Durval, 

  I've asked the developers to look into #1.  I'm not sure which file it is exactly.

  Regarding #2, no it is not possible with SkySafari.  But, it is possible to add orbital elements for single objects in Starry Night.
