My iPhone/iPad has both SkySafari Pro and SkySafari on it. When launched, both show the same version number. I App Store has both apps. What is the difference?

  Well that didn't work. All that lists is AR, Plus, and PRO. There is nothing I could find listing SkySafari on it, and the identifier on the iPad shows only SkySafari (version 6.5.1.3) and does NOT show AR, Plus, or Pro. Strangely enough, the SkySari 6 Pro lists the version as 6.5.1.3 (identical), but call itself PRO.

  Which one should I delete is my question since they look mostly identical (different app icon). Clearly there must be some difference?

  I guess no one knows. Simulation Curriculum sent me an email telling me about SkySafari AR, which wasn't even my question. So I still don't know what the difference is between the two versions, and Simulation Curriculum doesn't seem to know.

  SkySafari AR is the same as the basic version.  There are 3 versions.

  • SkySafari (our basic version - previously known as SkySafari AR)
  • SkySafari Plus
  • SkySafari Pro

  Please look in the Help tab > scroll to the bottom > there it will say what your app and version is.  If it doesn't say Plus or Pro then it is the basic version.
