I have both Starry Night Pro Plus 8 and SkySafari Pro 6 and thoroughly enjoy both. In the latter, however, there are two issues with Observing Sites. Firstly, the text fields giving Latitude, Longitude, Elevation, Time Zone, etc. do not display the text contained therein. Secondly, when selecting a site, either from the map, site location list or manual entry, nothing changes and one remains at the position determined by one's GPS location.

Garry Bluhm Paul,
I use iPadPro 13.2.2 & SkySafari6Pro 6.5.1.3.
Turning off Dark Mode on iPad will make the the text fields visible. Must be a Dark Mode Bug.
Any new selection on mine, in Dark Mode, is still always visible when going back to main screen at top left.

Paul Human Yes, thanks, dissapointingly, dark mode is the culprit. Unfortunately, selecting the site still does not take me to that location.

Paul Human It seems, counterintuitively, one cannot choose an observing site from the Observe menu. One, instead, has to go into settings and choose it there. Weird!

Keiron Smith Thanks, Paul, thanks, Garry!
We'll get this fixed in an update.

Dave Whipps Hey all! We've confirmed this and have a fix. Version 6.5.3 is currently in review by Apple, and should be out in a day or two. Thanks again for your reports!
