SkyWeek Is Down For Over A Week (Answer: We Know, And Update With Fix Is Coming)

skyweek is down for over a week, but other systems are up such as local astronomy events and links.

troubleshooting steps i tried was deleting the app and reinstalling. still an issue.

I just get a blank screen with the round icon spinning. Never resolves. i try connecting with local network and cellular. None work.

skyweek worked about two weeks ago, but not now. I really like it and hope it comes back.

skyweek is working great on the skyweek app from sky and telescope. 

is this a current streaming glitch at sky safari servers, or something else?

i have version 6.6.4.10 on iPhone Xsmax  and ios 13.3.1

    I am also waiting for this to get fixed. SkyWeek hasn't updated since the Jan 24 - Feb 1 post. I'm using SkySafari Pro 6.6.4.10 on a Galaxy Tab S2. Everything else seems to be working OK, though it was a little buggy recently trying to connect to my Celestron Astro Fi 5, but managed it after a few tries.

    Is there any update on this? I just bought SkySafari Pro 6 thanks to the sale, and SkyWeek just shows as blank

    Sky and telescope just dumped skyweek app from App Store.... does this mean your dumping also? If yes, you should recompile and get on app store

    I think the SkyWeek problem is on Sky & Telescope's side, not SkySafari.   For those of us that have subscriptions to the Sky & Telescope magazine, we have been having trouble downloading digital versions of the mag for a while now, as they are switching platforms (and possibly owners).    So it makes sense that S&T would remove their app ... it will probably be covered by another app with a different name soon.   That may or may not affect an API that gives SkySafari its data ... we will just have to wait and see.
