Having used the previous version of Sky safari with my Meade I am having a few issues using the align function under scope control.
In the previous version I could setup the scope roughly facing North then pick an object, slew the scope so that it was centred then click align
and the crosshair on the app would move and centre on the object selected. In version 6 if I do the same after I click align the crosshairs
don't move and the scope stays misaligned. any thoughts?

Hi Ian, I don't have a Meade to test but I just tried with the "Demo Interface" and the selected object in the SkyChart was centered after I tapped the "Align" button. Does it work for you if you select Demo Interface as the scope type?
Other tips: Do the two star alignment in your Meade hand controller first. Then centre on an object in the eyepiece. Now select the object in the Sky Chart and select "Align". You initial alignment should be close to the offset.
