Because of light pollution, I spend most of my observing time working with double stars. Sky Safari claims to label double stars and, indeed, it does so to some extend. However, most double star systems are not properly labeled even though the data is available in the catalogues. None of the stars from the GAIA catalogue are ever labeled. Extending the labeling to cover more doubles would be greatly appreciated.
The "measure" tool in iOS works differently than that on the Mac. On iOS, it returns the separation and position angle. On the Mac, it returns distance. The position angle and separation are far more useful. In fact, if they worked on the Mac, it would make up (to some degree) for the lack of labeling of components. I'd like to see the PA and Sep parameters added to the Mac either as an option or to replace the current measurement system.
