Why Do I Get Image Duplication Using Starry Night Pro Plus 8? (Answer: Read On!)

Hi,

I just purchased SN Pro Plus 8.  It's really a great piece of software.  But I have been playing around with the ALL SKY IMAGE feature and ran into some strange problems with the graphics.  By the way, I have a 16 inch MacBook Pro with 6 core i7 and AMD Radeon Pro 5300M(4 GB), 16 GB Ram.  So it's not a hardware issue, I think.  When i change the brightness setting in the ALL SKY IMAGE section, anything more than half, I see double images when scrolling the sky.  I also enabled the feature  underneath it to prevent this.  But still no luck.  If anyone can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.  Thank you.

    Hi Navid,

    Image duplication occurs with a few objects only when the All-Sky is enabled AND another catalog database (+ those catalog images) are enabled.  To resolve the duplication you can disable either the All-Sky or the other catalog database.
