Use Encoder Star Alignment Next Day

Very impressed with Sky Safari's multiple star alignment process for Push-To Alt Az DSC systems. Is my logic correct in hoping that after alignment I can park the telescope very precisely, disconnect Sky Safari, keep the Sky Safari running in the background all night, return the next day, without touching the telescope reconnect, and use the previous star alignment to find daytime objects?
