How To Find And Display The ISS International Space Station In SkySafari 6 Pro? (Answer: Read On!)

How can I display the ISS and its orbit? I tried searching for ISS, Zarya, Space Station, and multiple combinations. I get nothing. The closest I get is ISS DEB, and i get a plethora of matches there. So how do I display the current orbit on my Mac (version 6.0)?

    Hi Montgomery,

Try all lowercase.  Works for me.  Thanks!

OK, I found it. Now my next question is if SkySafari 6 Pro has any ability to show the orbit path? NASA (and others) have great tools for the track of the ISS and even telling you when it will be visible in your location. I was hoping that SkySafari would be able to do that. In the ORBIT view it is worthless as it shows the earth but with no discernible landmarks or even country boundaries. In fact the earth is so covered in clouds you can't even tell which continent. Clearly there has to be a better way.

Bingo. That idd it. I kept clicking on ORBIT which did not work. SOLAR SYSTEM was the solution.

Now I just have to figure out prediction info (when it will be viewable in my location). But I've got NASA telling me that so not critical.

    Thanks.
