Sky Safari and Nexus DSC positions don't match?

Hi folks!

I am experiencing an offset error between Sky Safari 6 Pro on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 tablet and the Nexus DSC digital setting circles.

The Sky Safari bullseye is consistently offset about 0.3° in both RA and DEC from the Nexus DSC position.

That is, if I center an object using Sky Safari, its position will be off about 0.3° in both RA and DEC in the Nexus DSC.

I have synchronized the time and epoch settings between Sky Safari and the Nexus DSC.

What else could be causing this offset error?

  P.S. The Nexus DSC is well-aligned to the sky. I sample 10-15 stars using MPoint and an illuminated reticle crosshair eyepiece.

  I believe this error was internal to Nexus DSC.
