Comet Neowise C/2020 F3 is not showing in Skysafari 6 plus for Android

I have just recently bought Skysafari 6 plus for Android and Comet C/2020 F3 Neowise is not visible in the app.
I have tried to update the "minor body orbit data" but it does not download anything.

There's so many threads on this topic now that I don't even know what to suggest you try. Maybe read through a few of the others and see if any of the suggested solutions work? Good luck!

I've read a few threads on this but they mostly either apply to IOS or the problem is partially or temporarily resolved by updating the minor body orbit data.

In my case clicking the update minor orbit data does not work at all,  not even temporarily, and even after multiple attempts.
As I said I just paid for and installed Skysafari 6 plus for an android phone so the threads with solutions for IOS are not applicable .

I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app: no change.

It seems to me that the "update minor orbit data" is just not working properly, the update might be there but it's not downloading.

By the way,  Skysafari is  the only app I know which doesn't allow any kind of updating through the play store, I previously had Skysafari 5 plus and the Skysafari 6 installs as a completely new app.
Maybe this is also a reason why the orbit data update system doesn't work properly.

It's a shame that considering the amount of complaints, the developers at SimulationCurriculum have not been able to find a solution or work around to for this problem while this comet is still observable!
