Cannot align with Skysafari 6 Pro

I ALWAYS get the error "Your alignment target is too far from the scope's predicted position.  Please make sure you selected the right alignment target." I always have the object centered in my scope, but the app seems to think I am wrong. Why is this happening and how do I get this error from stopping? I can't even get it to align to ONE object, let alone two or three. This is seriously annoying.
