I am experimenting with a Bluetooth module to add Sky Safari 6 (android) control to my synscan 4 hand controller. Will this work with a blutooth low energy module, this module does not have spp. Do I need to find a different module with spp.

  I tried a different Bluetooth 2.1 module with SPP and it works!  Only thing is it will not connect after previous pairing so need to forget and re pair in android bluetooth settings each time I use it.
