I'm having a bit of trouble with SS6Plus on an Android Google Pixel 4a, connected to a "Basic Encoder" system over wifi. I built the encoder system myself based on the VlaDSC project described here:
https://github.com/vlaate/DobsonianDSC
took it out for first light last night, and did a rough align to Jupiter to try it out. worked "great" for my first go, slewing to different objects got me pretty close to what I'd expect to see. so I decided to go back and redo my alignment with a bit more precision. Of course, when I tried to realign with Jupiter, I got the "this object is too close to an existing alignment point" (or whatever the exact text is). No problem, I hit "Restart Alignment" and tried again. same error. The only way I found to clear my previous points was to close the app and reopen, which is obviously a bit more cumbersome than I'd like. Am I missing something?
thanks!
Dan
