I purchased SkySafari 6 for both my iphone/ipad and mac. I have a Celestron Nexstar Evolution. I have no issues connecting and controlling my mount using my iphone or ipad, but I cannot connect with my mac. I receive the error message below each time I try to connect with my mac. Additional info below.
-I was able to connect to my mount with my mac once when I first got the app. It disconnected and I haven't been able to connect again.
-The settings for my scope are the same in the mobile and computer app.
-Scope Type: Celestron Wi-Fi
-Mount Type: Alt-Az. GoTo
-Direct connect
-I have deleted and reinstalled the app on my mac. This didn't help.
-I do connect to the SkyQlink wifi when attempting to connect to the scope.
-I do not try to connect to the scope with multiple devices at once.
ERROR MESSAGE
SkySafari 6 Pro can make a TCP/IP network connection to the telescope's IP address, but the scope is not responding. Make sure it is connected and powered on. Also check that your scope type is correct.
