I had to totally wipe SS6P from my Mac computer and reinstall it. Part of the problem seems to have been settings/preference files. Where are those files stored? I want to use my Time Machine to see if I can retrieve my settings from before the program stopped working but need to know where they are located on my computer. Curiously, I notice there is no SS folder in the Applications Support folder after the reinstallation.

Keiron Smith SS6 data is stored in LiveSky.com. Did you create a LiveSky account? If so, just login again via the app and all your data will be restored.
Thanks!

Dean Atnbirdie,
If, like me, you don't use LiveSky, and you need to restore from Time Machine, or if you just simply like to know exactly where files are stored on your computer, you can find the settings files locally on your Mac at this path:
/Users/your user name/Library/Containers/com.simulationcurriculum.SkySafari6MacPro
The "[CurrentSettings].skyset", and the plist file "com.simulationcurriculum.SkySafari6MacPro.plist" are here:
/Users/your user name/Library/Containers/com.simulationcurriculum.SkySafari6MacPro/Data/Library/Application Support/SkySafari 6 Pro/[CurrentSettings].skyset
/Users/your user name/Library/Containers/com.simulationcurriculum.SkySafari6MacPro/Data/Library/Preferences/com.simulationcurriculum.SkySafari6MacPro.plist
Restoring these files may also restore your original problem, so proceed with caution.

Atnbirdie Keiron: I do have a LIveSky account so my critical data like observing lists, observations, equipment are all restored on my Mac. However, I thought my user defined locations and other settings like Appearance and Behavior, Horizon and Sky, Deep Sky, etc. would also be refreshed. They have not. It's still all there on my iOS devices, but not on the Mac.
Dean- Thanks for that. I've tucked it away for future use...
