Slewing Not Working with New Samsung Galaxy Phone (Android)

I own a Simulation Corp Wi-Fi controller. Recently, I bought a Samsung Galaxy A51 5G phone, updated with all its recent updates. When I do a "Goto" to a spot in the sky with SkySafari 6 Pro software, the telescope (Celestron Nexstar SLT (w/Starsense)) makes a very short (1 sec) slewing sound, but does not actually slew. The software display shows a very quick journey (2-3 secs) to the spot. Are there are issues you know about the software and a newer Android phone? The telescope is aligned and Wi-Fi connected. The process still works well with my older tablet and previous Samsung phone.
