Keiron Smith Bob,
You need to offer more information about the issue if you want to receive help.
- What app and version?
- What OS?
- What device/computer?
- What location are you referring to? Please include screenshots.
Thanks!

Bob Bob Hi Keiron, i have just bought my first telescope, it's a Celestron Explorer 80 LT.
It has the starsense explorer app.
It also let me download the Starry Night Celestron book basic edition.
At the moment i'm just messing around the book trying to glean some basic usage tips.
I live right near Carlisle Cumbria and i've found i can lock in to that location easily but,,,,, each time i change screens the Carlisle
bit goes and up comes Minneapolis ?
Right now all i want to do is lock in Carlisle, even better Keswick where i live.
Is this doable?
Confession time, i'm rubbish on tech lol
thanks Bob

Keiron Smith Bob,
When you press the Home button you are returned to your Home Location.
When you create and save a simulation as a Starry Night File (File > Save As SNF) that simulation will have a location.
When you use SkyGuide, and view a simulation/event, these have all been created using different locations.
Same for Favourite Files, these have all also been created using different locations.
When the program switches to Minneapolis that is because the simulation view was created using that location.
What is most important is where you are when you press the Home Button. If the Home button returns you to your preferred Home Location, then all is good.
Thanks!
