Cannot enter custom object in Sky Safari 6 Pro

I tried to enter a custom object (Cassiopeia A) in Sky Safari 6 Pro on my iPad by naming it and specifying its right ascension and declination, but cannot figure out how to do it. I first created a new observing list (Radio Sources), then navigated to the right ascension and declination I wanted. When I tried to use the Selection tool to add the object to the database, it added a completely unrelated object (Beehive Cluster). Could someone please provide the specific steps I need to use to enter a custom object in the database or in my observing list? Thank you. I also have Sky Safari Pro 8 on my iPhone.
