SkySafari 6 Pro 6.8.6.3 Crashing on Startup on Asus Z00AD

I've loaded SkySafari 6 Pro on a Asus Z00AD running Android 5.0. and it crashes immediately after opening. I've tried clearing the cache and reinstalling. I understand that the updated version of SkySafari had addressed this issue but it's still not working for me. I've tried loading the free version of SkySafari and it won't open either.

  Please delete.  Disable your data.  And download again using only a WiFi connection.

  I don't have a data plan on the phone. I tried downloading and installing again with WiFi and it still won't launch. The SkySafari screen comes on for a second and then disappears.

  It's an Asus Z00AD running Android v5.0.
