Connect EQ6R-pro to Sky safari 6 via USB type A/B cable

Hi all I just bought Sky Safari 6 Plus, I would like to know how to connect my EQ6R-PRO to the program. I currently have a Type A / Type B cable and a Type C adapter to connect it to my MacBook Pro M1. Can anyone help me?
