[UX Issue] Is It Possible To Select Objects Below The Horizon? (Answer: No, Not When Using A Horizon Panorama)

Another (minor) bug report.

What I See: When I tap on a star/planet/etc in the main planetarium view that is below the horizon, nothing happens.

What I expected: When I tap on a star/planet/etc that is below the horizon, I expect it to be selected, just like with objects above that are above the horizon.

Version: SkyiSafari Pro 7.0.1 on an iPhone 12 Pro running iOS 15.1. A quick check shows that this is not new; it was happening in Sky Safari Pro 6 as well, and I just hadn't noticed.

Details/Notes: I am running in Portrait mode. Additionally, I have a custom panoramic image for my horizon, which has transparency set to 50% below the horizon. (Note: the horizon file I had been using, which I sent Keiron the other day as part of a different bug report, did not have this transparency, which is why I didn't notice this behavior in SkySafari 6).

Thank you, and as always, feel free to ping me for additional details!

It has been that way since the early days of SkySafari.  You can't select objects below the horizon when using a Panoramic Horizon.  In most cases you can't see them because the image is opaque so it doesn't matter.  Possibly SimCur could make a change to allow this if it can detect a translucent horizon image.

    Thanks for the info Bill,

Another simpler way that SimCur could solve the issue would be to have a panorama associated toggle for allowing selection of objects below the horizon.
