SkySafari 7 Pro Drifts When Controlling Direct Connect Celestron WiFi + Nexstar Evolution 8

I have been using skyportal version 3.4.2.3 and just upgraded to Skysafari 7 on IOS 15.1.  When I goto an object in skyportal, it tracks the object over time just fine.  However when I goto and object in Skysafari 7, it no longer tracks.  After a few minutes of earth rotation the object has drifted away.  I can repeatedly press goto and return to the object, but this is not optimal.  My telescope is a Celestron nexstar evolution 8 using direct connect.

    1. How have you configured SkySafari 7 Pro in Settings > Telescope?  Please attach screenshots of the settings selected.
    2. What alignment process are you using?
    3. What version of SS7 Pro?  Please look in Help > scroll to the bottom.
    4. What iOS device?
