[Feature Request]* Dynamic Search & [UX Issue] Where Are All The Missing DeepSky Object Images (Answer: There Are Too Many Objects To Include Images For Every One - Read On!)

Hi, tonight I looked for the "famous" Spaghetti Nebula, clearly visible on Stellarium (first screenshoot), however absent in SkySafari7 (second screenshoot). Searching for it by its technical name, Sharpless 2-240, finds it, but does not display it on the screen. I noticed the same problem with many other subjects, I do not understand if it is normal that they are missing, if there is any wrong setting or if they will have to be implemented in the future. I hope it's just a bug. In addition, it would be possible to implement a dynamic search that shows the results as you write, otherwise everything turns out to be much more difficult to use, not everyone remembers the correct names of everything. Thank you for any help!

    Sharpless 2-240 doesn't have a visual magnitude (at least SkySafari doesn't have it) and it is not automatically displayed.  It is displayed when it is the selected object, but since SkySafari doesn't have an image for the object, it is displayed as a simple rectangle.  This is shown in your second image as the "whitish" rectangle.  SkySafari only tends to have images for objects that have an NGC number.  There are hundreds of thousands of objects in the database and it is not possible to have images of all of them.

    To see all objects without a visual magnitude, you can go to Settings > Deep Sky > Magnitude Limit and move the slider to the far right, which is "Unlimited".  You might also need to move the "Never Show Fainter Than" slider to the right as well.  Then even objects with no listed magnitude will show up, although you are likely to be somewhat overwhelmed with the number of them.

    I agree that dynamic search would be a good thing to add.  Way back when SkySafari was first written, search and screen updating was too slow for it to be dynamic, but those days are over.
