I have a celestron scope and was using their sky portal product which is actually powered by yourselves with Sky Safari 6
2 days ago I opened Skyportal and was offered the chance to upgrade, for $9.99, to a newer version (powered I guess by Sky Safari 7)
I was not in a position to buy that upgrade, so I pressed cancel expecting to be able to complete the upgrade later

Since then I have not been offered the chance to upgrade again

Spoke to Celestron who say I should be offered and to speak to you guys directly.

The Celestron person also said they keep being offered the upgrade even if they take the "cancel" option

There are two possibilities

(1) I live in the UK
(2) I have already purchased Sky Safari 7 directly from you

Help please - Id like to keep the celestron badged version up to date (for support purposes)

Chris,

You may only receive the SS7 in-app promotion once. However, you do not need the in-app promotion in order to receive the discount.

SS7 is 50% off in the iOS App Store.

You can not purchase it twice for the same App Store account.

So, have a look in the App Store, and if you want to purchase SS7 you are getting the 50% discount whatever the list price shows.

SS7 will be discounted 50% for the first month of sale.
