Why Is SkySafari On Android Always Downloading XX Number Of Files? (Answer: Get The Beta And Test The Fix)

Sky Safari Pro 6 mobile app has not been acting right for a week now. Every time I open the app, it says it's downloading data files, and the downloads never complete. I tried uninstalling the app and then reinstalling the app several times, but the issue remains.

    How do you apply for Beta version on Google Play? What are the steps that I need to take because I don't know where on Google Play do I apply for Beta version of Sky Safari Pro 6.

    Hello, Keiron Smith. I just want to apologize for my impatience. I understand that you and all the developers are working very hard to try to fix the issues with Sky Safari Pro 6 as well as the other software programs. I'm not a developer, so I don't know all the work that goes into developing software, but I know it must not be easy.

    In a strange way, even though I've encountered a couple of issues with Sky Safari Pro 6 this year, it's still by far the best mobile astronomical software program I've ever used, even better than Stellarium's. So even though I said I was ready to throw in the towel and find another astronomical software to use, the truth is, there really isn't a better astronomical software for mobile devices except for Sky Safari Pro 6. For that reason, I'll be happy to wait for the new version to be released, no matter how long it takes. My only question is, how will we -- the public -- know that the new version has been released? Where will the announcement be published?

    By the way, a final thing I want to mention is that I greatly appreciate the transparency that you all provide for us. I love this open forum where we all can talk with each other and ask each other questions. You guys are so quick to respond to our queries, even though it's not always an easy thing to do. I want to personally thank you and everyone on the team for all of your hard work. Please, don't get discourage. I would rather you all take your time and fix every problem that needs to be fixed than to rush and leave some problems unfixed. Therefore, I will be patient, and I pray that everyone else will be patient as well.

    I will post here when there is another beta available for testing.

    I will post here when we release a public app update too (i.e. the beta has been confirmed as a good fix for most users).

    This issue has been resolved in the latest app update.  Please delete and reinstall the app.

    I delete and reinstall the app...NO PROBLEM ! ! It works, at list as it is.Al try it with the telescope.                                                                                Thanks!
