I have finally been able to use my new Astro Fi 130. Originally i had trouble aligning the scope with the free Sky Portal app ( I could connect it no problem though) . I did some searching and it seems like others had the same problem with the alignment... I saw the Sky Safari 7 Pro and thought it would solve the alignment issues that Sky Portal has. However (I am not sure if I’m ‘setting the scope up’ completely correctly as there isn’t any simple instructions for the complete novice. Any ideas on why the Astro Fi isn’t connecting to the Sky Safari 7 pro app? Hopefully it’s something super simple that I have overlooked, as the app doesn’t even register that there is a scope to connect to- no error messages come up or anything like that, the app, doesn’t do anything and then the app freezers after a few mins. I am running to app on the newest and latest iPad (2021 version) All I want to do is use scope but so far I haven’t been able to. Any help is super appreciated.
Thanks so much for your time.

Keiron Smith Jill,
In SkySafari 7 Pro you must choose "Celestron WiFi" for your Scope Type option.
Thanks!
