Since SS7 can access INDI servers now, it should not be too difficult for SS7 now to access an INDI-based astro-camera and thus implement plate solving (online or offline) and aligning a connected mount to the desired target object. Similar to what KStars/EKOS does.
In a next step, this would also mean, that SS7 could have a mount model or provide a nice polar alignment assistent.
