Why did you delete comet Elenin C/2017 A3? There is no Elenin C/2017 A3 on Starry night pro plus 6.4.3. from yesterday. And it is not only comet you deleted.

The comets are not deleted by us. They are downloaded from Minor Planet Center - which maintains the list.
But, also, look in Starry Night > Preferences > Start Up > increase the number of comes read in to 9,999.
Restart SN6. Search again for the comet.
