Sometimes during alignment with SkySafari 7 PRO 7.0.3 (1044) on my Celestron CGEM DX mount the motors drive to a crazy position. Using Celestron SkyPortal and Ipad 6. First example, I was aligning to the second star and the final driven position was 20-30 degrees in error. Powered off/then on. The next alignment attempt on the 4th star, the telescope ran away and would not stop. The optical tube was being drive down below the mount and looked like it would hit the tripod legs. I had to kill power to save the scope. 95% of the time alignment works great. But these runaway events are scary.
