Hi Nick, it's a bug.  We fixed it and it should be available in an update as early as tomorrow.  Thank you.

This is fixed in 7.0.1.1, which is now available on Google Play.

I am still receiving occasional notifications even though I have all disabled in settings, though it is greatly reduced. The most common are Phobos Transits and Enceladus Occultations.

    Thanks Mike.

Did you turn off absolutely everything in the Settings/Notifications, that is, in addition to turning off the class notifications (Planetary Moon Events) did you also click on the disclosure icon to turn off everything under Planetary Moon Events? (Shadow Transits/Transits/Occultations/Eclipses & all the planets by name)?

Everything is off in both the Parent Menu and all submenus. On 7.0.1.1 there is also a bug where you can't select/deselect Jupiter. I think it's on and can't be turned off. I created a bug report in the Beta forum.

Pedro mentioned it should be fixed in 7.0.2

I also have 7.0.1.1 and am still getting notifications despite having turned them all off.
