SS7 Pro can't connect to indi

Pixel 6, Android 12, SS7 Pro 7.0.0.25

Stellarmate 1.7.1 (KStars 3.5.9, INDI 1.9.6)

"Connected to INDI Connection server but could not communicate. Please check your server setup."

No logs available, even with scope logging turned on.

Clearly SS7 is doing something wrong because telescope.touch is able to connect, KStars is able to connect. I'm VNC'd into my stelllarmate looking at INDI running right now.

    Dear Sky Safari team,

like spotted in the Indilib forum my severe problems connecting my scope(s) via Indi in SS7 on Android. It is just not working reliably and stable.

This happens mainly on Android. But I encountered this on iOS (iPad/iPhone) as well. This happens, when the device is in Hotspot, in WLAN mode, also when connected via LAN. The device is Stellarmate (actual software stack). I use the SkySafari module within Stellarmate. The driver for the mount is OnStep LX200 and  is working absolutly well.
I also encountered these connection problems with a digital settings circle dievice.

The exact test scenario you can read here:

If this is a know problem with android, this seems to be a problem with the network connection from android to the indi server. SS7 can not resolve stelarmate.local on android, whereas the iOS app can do successfully.

    Cheers, Axel
