Ros Hartigan Hi James,
Can you try making an INDI preset in SkySafari 7 Pro?
Go to Settings - Presets - Add Preset - INDI Connection. Enter the IP Address and Port number of your INDI server and then click Search IP and Port for Devices.
If the server is available, you should be able to select the desired telescope. Then hit Next and Save Preset, exit out of settings and try to connect.

James Randolph I did that.

Ros Hartigan Would you be willing to send us a log?
1) Get SkySafari 7 Pro to crash
2) Launch it again
3) Go to Help, Scroll to the bottom, click 'Email Log File'
4) Email the file to support@simulationcurriculum.com

James Randolph Emailed .
Thought I would have to use Pixel Developer menu.
Thanks -
James Randolph I received an email for additional information to start a ticket. The log is from July 4. Not expecting a bug, I don't have screen shots. Would have to execute again.
In any case, if my equipment is at fault, you have need for additional error trapping.😀 -
Ros Hartigan Thanks James! Almost certainly an error in SS7, hopefully the log will help us track it down.

Ros Hartigan James, this should be fixed in 7.0.3.2.
-
James Randolph Thanks.
I've been waiting to test again but have 7.0.2.0.
I'll wait.
Thanks for getting back to me. -
James Randolph Whoops. Should have checked first from your hint.
I've got 7.0.3.2 -
James Randolph Ok. SS7 connected to my INDI Scope centered on the Sun and I was able to GOTO Mercury. Neat.
Now to solve all this INDI driver confusion so I can use the Celestron Motor Focuser from SS7.
Thanks Ros and others.
