1.Can not select a telescope from the list(under telescope presets ).

2.Tapping on "connect" for a telescope, the whole application disappears and I revert to the tablets main screen.

    Samuel,

    Please always include:

    • App and version
    • Android OS
    • Android device
    • In this case, please also include a screenshot of the scopes in your list, and tell us what preset are you trying to select.
    • And, can you connect to the DEMO scope preset?

    Thanks!

    And, thanks Mike too!

    App. is ss7 ver. 7.0.1.1

Android  ver. 11 on tablet Samsung  s5e.

As long as I had the DEMO only on the ""telescope presets" screen, I could use this feature. But as soon as I added a preset, only the new preset was automatically selected. from this moment and further, I could not select any other preset.

Here is a screenshot of the "telescope presets" screen.

I can only add presets. But can't go back and delete one.

How can I see the settings of each preset ?

    Thanks

Tap a preset, a pop-up menu should appear, with options to Use, Edit and Delete.

Be on the lookout for version 7.0.2. Play had it as available on my Galaxy S22 Ultra. In 7.0.2 I can connect to my SynScan dob with SS7 again!

You know how Google is, it may take awhile before you can update....

    Hi

    My issue was solved.

The reason was, I have not chosen "device" under "telescope presets".

    Thank you

The app crashes after about 10 seconds when I connect a scope under Meade LX 200 protocol.

    SS7 Pro  7.0.2

    Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e.

    Android 11.

Nexus DSC using port 4060 and ip 10.0.0.1.

    Protocol  Meade LX 200.

I can connect using Basic Encoder System protocol with Nexus II, same IP and port, at least I could with the previous version of SS7 Pro.

Update:  I just tried again, and it does not crash.  Maybe my version of SS7 Pro updated since last evening?  How can I tell when it last updated?
