i need to know the exactly procedure to do it right.
1- i connected my cell phone to the telescope WIFI
2- connect and align (using preset Celestron WI Fi)
3- asked me for the 3 stars
selected them and at the end got the error message

Mike Atkins Forgive me for asking, what object are you trying to align on in SS7?
I have a SynScan Dob. In the alignment procedure I make note of the last alignment star. When I open SS7 I search for that object, center it on the chart, connect to the scope, and then align on it.
In SS7 the object you choose to align on must be within 10 degrees of where SS7 thinks the scope is pointing to where it actually points to. I've never had an issue doing SS7 alignment in that order.

Mike Atkins You got it. Whatever the last alignment star is center it in SS7, connect to the scope and align. Hope it helps.
