I am using a sitech controller with skysafari(any version), and an ARGONAVIS which mediates between them.
This configuration works flawlessly.
But I noticed that when skysafari is directly connected to the sitech controller,without a mediator, encoder steps per revolution reads motor encoders only, while on skysafari, under" Mount Type", I selected "Get Automatically"
Sitech controller is configured as "use DregNTrack Mode",which means that the MUNT ENCODERS should be read from the controller.
In this situation, the telescope pointing accuracy is not as good as it should be.
Could you fix this ?
I ,now that the communication protocol on the controller, includes an instruction(XZ# and YZ#) for that.
