Seems customers using ver. 6 of Skysafari Pro has been long abandoned when having issues. Therefore I try to get attention here. Why release a new version (7) before having solved issues with the previous version thinking we would be yet another possibly defective version og your software. I haven't been able to control my Skywatcher mount for more than 6 months and filing a complaint seems futile since nobody reads it or seems to care.

SS7 is verfied, confirmed to be working with SynScan WiFi.

A S Hi Kaspar, use the old SynScan 1.19.16 from their web site. Those work in SS6pro and SS7pro on Android 12. Only if you use the SynScan-Pro-version, then you must set the location manually. None of the new 2.0.x ever worked with my set up: Dobson, WiFi dongle, Android 12, neither with dongle's WIFI, nor with the home's WIFI.
I also contacted support, they answered, they confirmed my problems and that at the failures will be fixed in 2.0.3ff, but we are now at 2.0.6 and no function.
A workaround for 2.0.x is, to switch off mobile data, that helped in 2.0.2. But this isn't an option.
