Writing a script to control a Canon EOS Rebel 2000D

I have a Skywatcher GZ-AltAz mount and I want to connect the camera to it and control the camera *and* and mount using SkySafari. The camera comes supplied with Windows libraries but I'm not sure if they would be any help with Android. It's a nice thought if this could happen.
