For any issue concerning Apple quicktime do the following:

1.  Quit the program or the installer.

2.  Go to Control Panel---> Add/Remove Programs--->uninstall quicktime (and anything else that is "Apple") 

3. Go to www.quicktime.com and download a new QT 7.6.8 (or whatever is the lastest). 

4. Install QT onto your computer.

5.  Retry Starry Night.
