Starry Night related crashes can often be resolved by updating to the latest version. Either update through the program or download the updates directly. To update through the program look in Help ---> Check for Updates. To download the updates directly:

No updates listed for any version of starry night 7. I need some update though it no longer works on OS X High Sierra, quits unexpectedly at startup every time
